Appalachian Angus is an up and coming show cattle operation based in the mountains of western North Carolina. We place a strong emphasis on our Registered Angus cowherd but also utilize those same cow families in a cross breeding program so that we are able to offer not only Angus show heifers but heifers of multiple breeds every year to our customers. Through progressive management we strive to put animals on the ground that are not only functional, sound individuals, but also are eye catchers from a phenotypical standpoint. 

Jason and Brandy Ball, owners of Appalachian Angus, have a strong desire to build a program that will not only produce quality cattle that can go out and compete at every level for their new owners but also prove to have a positive influence on the youth of this industry. It is our goal to build a family and faith oriented atmosphere to educate and help our future customers achieve their goals in the show ring and as individuals.
